I am Marina, a dedicated Spanish and Catalan language instructor based in Barcelona, with over five years of teaching experience. Holding a degree in Tourism with a specialization in Tour Guiding, I bring a unique blend of linguistic expertise and cultural insight to my lessons. My passion for history, art, and storytelling allows me to enrich language learning with the vibrant cultural tapestry of Spain, particularly Barcelona. Beyond teaching, I have a keen interest in psychology and personal development, which informs my empathetic and student-centered approach. I think most important thing while learning is mantaining attention and motivation of the student. I am a close person, but also professional. I like to have a follow-up about what my students are doing and, most importantly, being behind supporting them. I am a natural at communicating and my students love to hear my stories about my country, Spain, which is a wonderful place, full of culture, good food and amazing people. My method is based mostly on oral part. Talking and understanding the language, also gramatics, are really important. In languages there is not a part more important than the others, it's just an ensemble of capacities and habilities that make that we could master this language and be able to communicate. I also use lots of audiovisual materials, texts, and articles I find, adapting them to my student's needs and, most of all, interests. I want you to master your spanish or catalan in what youre passionate about. I also prepare interviews, even if they are for studies or for a job. Also, I have a very wide experience with kids!

Since the first class I mentioned my intentions and why I would like to learn it.
The time we spent together are really fun, and I can learn with music, and videos, I highly recommend and always look forward to the next class. 10/10
