To all my future students:
I am Marina, and I live in Barcelona. Passionate about cooking, teaching, history, art, learning languages, culture, theatre,... Everything that comes with telling stories. I think people can have amazing backgrounds, and I'm always pleased about listening to them. Apart from being a teacher, I am a graduated on Tourism, specialised on Tour Guiding. So, I hope I'll teach everything I know about my country and specially, my city!
Also I am really into psychology, mental health. I like to read and watch videos about personal growth.

I think most important thing while learning is mantaining attention and motivation of the student. I am a close person, but also professional. I like to have a follow-up about what my students are doing and, most importantly, being behind supporting them. I am a natural at communicating and my students love to hear my stories about my country, Spain, which is a wonderful place, full of culture, good food and amazing people. My method is based mostly on oral part. Talking and understanding the language, also gramatics, are really important. In languages there is not a part more important than the others, it's just an ensemble of capacities and habilities that make that we could master this language and be able to communicate. I also use lots of audiovisual materials, texts, and articles I find, adapting them to my student's needs and, most of all, interests. I want you to master your spanish or catalan in what youre passionate about. I also prepare interviews, even if they are for studies or for a job. Also, I have a very wide experience with kids!

Marina is a fun and engaging teacher. She explains any question I have and is always ready to teach me about catalan culture and customs. She is also very patient and corrects my errors. Would recommend booking a class with her!!

Marina is an awesome person and teacher. She adapts the class according to your needs and also what you like to talk about, and what you prefer and would like to do!
Since the first class I mentioned my intentions and why I would like to learn it.
The time we spent together are really fun, and I can learn with music, and videos, I highly recommend and always look forward to the next class. 10/10

Marina has done an outstanding job with my kids, especially my 8 year old daughter. She went from dreading the first lesson and crying to looking forward to seeing Marina and enjoying the lessons. I can tell she is gaining a lot of confidence
