I have substantial experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, and training children, teenagers, and adolescents to better themselves in life skills and academically. I have:
• Taught children & teenagers 6-18 years old from varying backgrounds in a classroom setting. I have built report with their parents and included them in the learning process
• Taught & mentored adults 18-52 years of age both personally and academically
• Experience with cultural differences and cultural sensitivities
• I specialize in conversational English and overall improvement of vocabulary and grammar

My teaching style is focussed on conversational English, which gives me an indication of the grammar and vocabulary needs of the student, after which I teach very limited grammar (just enough for the student's speaking ability to improve), as I believe that for most students, grammar can be very demotivating. I've only had two lessons with Zander, but I have to say, I'm excited about the next ones!
He is very attentive and I can see how interested he is in helping me improve my English. He is clear about my strengths and the areas for improvement, and he shares a clear plan on how to tackle them.

Zander is a great teacher. He has a consolidated method for learning concepts based on the level and his lessons are never boring because he manages to create an excellent balance between language needs and personal interests.

Zander is a very excellent and patient teacher who speaks English fluently and clearly. During my learning he made a good observation and judgement on my English grammar and vocabulary use. I learned a lot from Zander. Thank you so much!
