I'm a teacher for absolute beginner of Japanese language.
I’m native Japanese speaker who born and raised in Japan.
Until now, I’ve taught over 3,500 Japanese lessons for 600 students since April 2013.
My lesson is suitable for working professional, entrepreneur, or students who love Japanese culture, history, or willing to traveling to Japan.

SWY24 included around 260 youth from 14 participating countries.

I am honoured to be a staff of the Ship for South East Asia Youth family, having been a member of SSEAYP which sailed from Tokyo to Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, ad Vietnam, during October- December 2011. SSEAYP is an international programme sponsored by the Japanese government to foster understanding and goodwill among young people across ASEAN countries and Japan. SSEAYP38 included around 328 youth from 11 participating countries.

Needed proofreading done and Akari was supremely helpful. I was immediately relieved that I chose her for this, as it’s clear she is skillful in professional writing. She helped me articulate things I was struggling to even say in my own language. I recommend her if you need language advice for something important! I will definitely be requesting her again!

あかり先生は素晴らしい先生です。Akari-sensei is an exceptional teacher. Extremely knowledgeable, but also down to earth and patient. I appreciate the mix of textbook instruction with casual conversation. I also really respect her business hustle with her airbnb tours. And I hope to take one of her tours one day when she's not escaping from the Kyoto hot summers haha. Overall, make sure to book a lesson with her. 全体的に、本当に頭が良くてやさしい人です。
