Ciao! I’m Jovana, a Serbian linguist and Italian language enthusiast with a PhD in linguistics. Summers in Italy perfected my Italian and immersed me in dialects and culture, which I love sharing with students. I am very easygoing and relaxed. With a PhD in linguistics, I bring extensive expertise in language learning and teaching, so you don’t need to worry about mistakes or challenges along the way. I will guide you to make this journey smoother and will always be available to answer your questions. During my doctoral studies, I had the opportunity to teach Italian as a second language, which was an enriching experience. I have also taught students on various platforms, blending academic rigor with practical insights. Every student has unique needs, and I prepare each class with that in mind. Learning with me will be engaging and exciting! I incorporate video and audio materials to enrich our lessons and help us reach your goals. Together, we can improve your conversation skills, expand your vocabulary, and explore Italy and Italian culture—especially useful if you’re planning to travel or move there.
