Passionate about Argentina, language, and cultural exchange 🌎 Creator of SPANISHAR. I teach Spanish (standard & Rioplatense) and English through conversation, culture, and real-life communication.
My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to your interests: travel ✈️ business 💼 culture, politics, everyday life, and authentic conversation. Whether you want to improve fluency, prepare for work situations, or understand how people really speak in Argentina, I adapt each lesson to your goals.
I’ve taught more than 2000 lessons on italki and worked with students from many different countries and backgrounds. I focus on helping you speak confidently through active participation, role-plays, debates, and real-life simulations 🎭💬
I’ve traveled to more than 35 countries, often staying with local families through Couchsurfing, which gave me a deep understanding of intercultural communication and language learning from real human experiences, not just textbooks.
I also lead a 50-person team in my other professional field. I am currently working on my own brand, SPANISHAR, to share Argentine Spanish, Rioplatense culture, travel experiences, and authentic ways of speaking and living in Buenos Aires

Sofía is able to explain grammar topics in a simple way, so it is very easy to comprehend them. She makes each lesson interesting and fun. It is easy to follow the explanations and stay focused even on complex topics throughout the lesson.
