Hi! I’m Sabur — a linguist, polyglot, and your guide to thinking in Farsi. Born in Iran, lived in Tehran. I’ve spent a decade helping learners speak naturally through my DLI Method: science-backed immersion that skips grammar drills and textbooks.

Online Persian Teaching Training Course - Saadi Foundation - 2022The course and the certification was provided by Saadi Foundation which is the Iranian government's officials representor and organizer of all Persian courses across the world through Iran's embassies and consulates.
The course was designed based on a book called "How to teach Persian language?", published by the same foundation.
It was required to have a course of 9 sessions with a final exam.

I enjoyed my first lesson learning Persian with Sabour. He is kind, patient, positive and wants to help you be successful. As an English teacher myself, I like his method of teaching. No tedious grammar exercises.

I was delighted to find Sabour on italki: he's a great teacher with a great method. Not only he uses videos with real conversations in Persian, but also teaches you how spoken Persian is actually used, which is very difficult to find on the internet or even here with other teachers. Highly recommended!
