Great lesson with Jie! We talked about retirement age, waking up early and about kids being so much different from previous generations. Jie had some interesting and funny real-life stories. Lessons with Jie are definitely entertaining!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about different things - Chinese New Year, Christmas, watching videos before sleep, only child families, etc. We both had some funny stories. Jie has a good sense of humor. I like that Jie speaks at a natural speed rather than speaking slowly. I have to focus to keep up with the conversation. It's not easy, but it helps me to understand in less time. These kind of conversations are what I need to improve further!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about movies and tv shows, and about China during world war 2. Jie also gave some background on ancient China before it was unified. We also talked about earthquakes. It was an interesting discussion on a variety of topics!

She also talked about the history of the famous towers in Xi'an, and gave me some examples of people speaking with a Xinjiang accent. We also talked about winter and cold weather. It was interesting learning about all the food, and Jie was very eager to talk about it!
