Hi! My name is Rubí. I was born in Johannesburg South Africa but now I live in Spain. I have a Bachelors Degree in Music, majoring in Performance on percussion with a minor in music research. Besides classical percussion I also play African and Arabic percussion as well as the piano, ukulele, drum kit and a bit of guitar. I enjoy multiple hobbies from baking, embroidery and crochet to dancing, kick boxing and taking long walks with my dogs. I am an avid reader and love learning.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I have been teaching for over 10 years now and absolutely love it. The best way to learn something is to have fun so I try and make all my classes as fun as possible. I have taught many students over the past decade, ranging from 3 year olds to 72 year olds. I didn't enjoy learning languages when I was at school because I was bored in class so I try to make my language classes as fun and interesting as possible so that my students don't get demotivated. It is so important nowadays to be able to communicate in multiple languages so I would like to help you learn English in the most painless way possible. Rubí es la profesora de mi hija de 9 años. Consigue crear un ambiente muy agradable y cercano, consiguiendo que ella esté deseando volver a conectarse. Es creativa y busca actividades para la enseñanza que le puedan ser atractivas como las manualidades.
Muy contentos de nuestra primera experiencia con italki y con el acierto de elegir a Rubi!

She has a broad knowledge of a lot of cool topics, and you can talk to her about pretty much anything.
In addition to her awesome teaching skills, I truly feel Rubi is my friend, and I am able to talk to her about anything.
I recommend you take Rubi's English course if you want to improve your language skills.
