Greetings! My name is Jolie. I was born in the United States and currently live in the beautiful country of Italy. I teach English locally and online to hundreds of English learners from various parts of the world. I enjoy chatting about coffee and cats (I have three!) in addition to participating in the wonderful cultural and personal exchanges that language teaching and learning brings.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I am TEFL-certified and currently teach conversation-based lessons online and in Italy. While my approach to teaching is rooted in the necessity of conversation, my lessons integrate grammar, vocabulary, functional language, and, most importantly, your needs! I have been teaching English since 2024 and quickly discovered that the world of learning and teaching languages is dynamic and that we are always adapting to changing needs. For this reason, I enjoy offering various options for the learner's needs while still maintaining the fundamentals. Whether you prefer course-style lessons or the option for more flexibility, I've got you covered. I offer both General English Mini Courses AND my English Café lessons which allow for more variety and flexibility, putting your learning completely in your hands (with a little help from my own). I believe that grammar and conversation are both essential when learning a language, and so I incorporate both into my lessons. Ho effetuato solo una lezione da 30 minuti e cosa fondamentale mi sono sentita subito a mio agio. Nonostante non riuscissi a comprendere bene l'inglese, lei è stata davvero gentile nel ripetermi le cose in modo chiaro. La consiglierei sicuramente.

Джоли идеальный учитель для меня! Она очень ответственная, всегда отвечает на сообщения, учитывает все пожелания к уроку. При этом она еще и очень милая, добрая, открытая, приветливая :) Jolie is the perfect teacher for me! She is very responsible, always answers messages, takes into account all wishes for the lesson. At the same time, she is also very nice, kind and open person :)

Jolie is a hidden gem on italki! She's an excellent English teacher—kind, patient, and really good at explaining things clearly. She also brings such good energy to every class, which makes learning even more enjoyable. I always look forward to our next lesson!
