Hi ! My name is Thibaud, which actually sounds like "Teebo"
I am a passionate traveler, especially for the amazing people and sceneries I discover along the way. I love to learn about the culture and passions of the people I meet. I will always find a topic you enjoy talking about !
I have been teaching french and English for two years as a volunteer teacher, and that was an amazing experience.
It led me on this facinating journey to become a professional teacher in French as a foreign language.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I always focus on my student’s goals : I don’t teach the same topics nor the same way to people looking for tourism survival, academic improvement, long term expatriation or business interactions.
From my knowledge in Cognitive Sciences, I learned that the brain is at his best when stimulated in a pleasant way. Therefore, I’ll always make my lessons as cheerful and interesting as possible !Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
The first lesson will be about assessing your current level and understanding your reasons for learning French, so I can adapt my lessons. I’ll also focus on finding which way of learning suits you best and what kind of material you like the most (pictures, articles, games, videos, songs,...)
Then we can make a plan for acquiring the language tools you’ll need the most. Is it grammar and conjugaison ? Or maybe more about vocabulary and pronunciation ? Most probably a tailored mix of all those skills !
I can also give you homeworks in between sessions, like writing comments about an image or some classical exercises. That’s up to you of course !Il mio materiale didattico

Thibaud is very knowledgeable and patient. I am preparing for the French DELF B2 exam and have been provided with a structured plan on how the approach the various part of the oral and written part. Feedback is immediate and precise in a very nice atmosphere.

I have completed 16 lessons with Thibaud and he is still able to surprise me with new activities for practicing speaking and thinking in French. He is encouraging when I make mistakes or struggle to find the right word or phrase to express myself. His unobtrusive method of correcting errors allows me to speak without fear of being embarrassed of saying the wrong thing, and his grammar explanations are incredibly detailed and really help me to understand tricky rules.

Je viens de terminer une autre leçon avec Thibaud, et franchement c'est comme toujours un plaisir d'apprendre avec lui, non seulement il donne de corretions instantanes mais aussi il m'aide à être plus detendu pour m'exprimer en français. De plus on travaille ensemble pour reussir dans mon exemen de TCF Canada, Je vise le niveau B2. Grâce au Thibaud je me sens chaque fois plus proche de mon objectif.

J’ai toujours hâte de revoir Thibault chaque semaine ! Il est très compétent dans l’apprentissage de la langue française et me donne des explications très claires. Je suis content d’avoir trouvé quelqu’un qui peut m’apprendre un argot plus familier. Après plusieurs années d’études, mon français est devenu un peu trop formel, et je profite beaucoup des dialogues plus fluides et moins structurés, à l’inverse de ce qu’on trouve habituellement dans les cours académiques. Bravo et merci.
