Of course it is perfectly fine, if you are monolingual. Professionally, in language teaching, I own a certificate for language teaching to adults specializing among other things in teaching writing systems. Here, as a teacher, I intend to develop materials and routines which will help you most achieve your goals in learning German. We will identify those linguistic structures in German together, which are most alien to you given your possibly multilingual background. It is those structures which are usually hardest to learn.
