I am very happy when they speak easy Japanese like 'Arigato' to me. I am glad that they are interested in our language and culture. That's why I decided to become a Japanese teacher. I was a volunteer tutor for foreign students in Japanese class when I was a university student. I supported their learning process and learned how to teach Japanese along the way. My lesson is NOT typical Japanese lesson that practice Japanese which native Japanese wouldn't say! With or without a textbook, it doesn't matter. Even if we use a text book, I don't follow too much. We can have a conversation whilst practicing "Natural Japanese"! Playing games, describing some situations or such... I'll adapt the lesson to the student!
