💜I've taught Korean more than 15,500 hours online. I have taught Korean for over 15,500 hours on italki, working with learners from many different countries and backgrounds. My students range from complete beginners to advanced speakers, and I’ve helped them achieve goals like daily conversation, TOPIK preparation, and long-term fluency. Many students say they feel comfortable speaking with me from the very first lesson. I’m known for being patient, clear, and supportive, creating a safe space where learners feel encouraged to speak and grow with confidence.

Certified language teacher with over 10 years of teaching experiences I think the most important quality as a teacher is the ability to encourage learners. Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication. I believe that a good teacher makes learning more pleasant even when learners bump into obstacles, and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can speak without feeling nervous. So I try to be a good listener. I also try to make each class fun and helpful with enough preparation. One more thing: I teach mainly late teens~adults. I'm just better with grown-up learners :)

I've taught students over 15 years I have been teaching for a long time and I know that each student has a different personality of learning something. But, as I teach them for a long time, I realized that there is a common practice to learning new. One of the things that I would say you should enjoy it and be funny. I can make our class fun and joyful to learn Korean base on my long teaching experience. I am sure that I was a good teacher for all of my students.
