I have been taking lessons with Donatas for about three months, and I have seen more progress during my time with him than I have in the many years that I have spent trying to learn Lithuanian on my own, with other tutors, and in class settings. Donatas is extremely patient, accommodating, and supportive. He encourages students to ask any and all questions, make mistakes without fear of judgment, and recognize our progress (even when it gets hard!) It is evident that he takes time to prepare for each lesson and that his approach is not 'one size fits all.' His lesson plans are tailored to the needs of the individual student, both in the long-term and from class to class. After each lesson, I can feel that my skills are getting better and it leaves me feeling renewed in my language learning journey. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning Lithuanian, he is truly a one-of-a-kind instructor!

Paulius is a fantastic and gifted teacher! His lessons are always so very fluid and conversational, that I find that I'm learning just by conversing with him. He is super patient with me, as I fumble my way through pronunciations. He uses current and relevant topics to make his teaching points stick. He pushes me just the right amount to make me want to continue learning more, and he shares all types of good information and additional resources to make this language journey less daunting for me. Thank you, Paulius, and I look forward to more lessons with you!

Today's lesson was really fun -- I learned words and phrases that are important to me, and we also worked on pronunciation and getting the stress on the right part of the word. I have much more confidence now in trying to speak.

Monika is the best teacher on italki! OK, I don't have all the data to support this claim, but I have such a fantastic time working with her. Monika specializes her lessons for my interests, so I really feel fully engaged and excited for each time we meet. She is always so encouraging and positive, which makes my progress feel celebrated and encouraged. Her visual materials are very thoughtfully put together and are a great aid to my learning. We proceed at a manageable pace each lesson, and we practice an effective mix of activities, making our hour's class fly by. I absolutely recommend her as your Lithuanian teacher if you want a fun and well-organized learning experience!

I'm really happy with my first lesson with Adolfo! I got my questions about Lithuanian answered, and a lot of extra information. The class was both informative and engaging. His knowledge about other languages was both useful, and a fun edition to the class.

Inė has exceptional patience, and really gets you excited about perfection. She takes a topic like accentuation and pronunciation, and somehow makes it un-tedious. She has expert knowledge of Lithuanian, obviously...but she really is a naturally gifted teacher.

Sveikas! I have been having lessons with Martynas for almost a month and I have learned so much! Martynas has been super patient, clear and methodical in all of the lessons. Learning a new language hasn't been a chore and has been a lot of fun so far, the lessons are enjoyable and easy-going at a pace that works for me - we regularly check in on what I want to focus on and spend more time on things where needed. I look forward to continuing my lessons and recommend Martynas to anyone who wants to learn Lithuanian.

I highly recommend Maja as a teacher. She is very kind and has a positive demeanor and attitude during class. Even when I mispronounce words a number of time, she reinforces correct pronunciation and I never feel self-conscious. Today we did a number of dialogs and I learned the verb to be. I had fun and I'm looking forward to learning more Lithuanian!

WOW!!! I couldn't be more impressed. Aidas' knowledge of English and Lithuanian language structure and ability to break down complicated topics into easy to understand points is truly a gift. Lessons with Ingrida are really fun, the hour flies by. You feel that you are chatting with a friend, which makes learning less of a chore! She integrates real life topics and situations into the lessons and is excellent at correcting mistakes without making you feel silly. Also, the material she has put together is very approachable from a learner's standpoint, and much more intuitive than simple book learning.
