I am currently working as a high school teacher. In addicion, I give private lessons for small children, secondary school students and pensioners. I think practicing speech is the most important thing for learning a language. Even if we speak the language a little, we can already invent ourselves in different life situations. Patient and passionate teacher of Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and Montenegrin languages I have a lot of experience in translation of different kinds of texts, theory, poetry, movies, simultaneous translation from and to English, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian language. As an artist and cultural activist I led numerous educational workshops and lectured at different kinds of institutions, schools, universities, galleries, museums, so I have extensive experience at various teaching methods for learners of different backgrounds and ages. As you probably already know, until Yugoslav wars in the 90s, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian were taught in schools as one language, Serbo-Croatian. So, these 3 languages share the same grammar. They differ only in a small number of words.

I create a google document for each student and type everything that we do/say during the class. I ask a lot of questions and wait patiently until you answer - after that I provide grammar and pronunciation corrections and suggest different words you could have used and type it all in the document. You can access it anytime, add your own words or translations and do your homework there, it's like a virtual notebook.

The age of my students varied from as young as 5 to as old as 65, so I have experience with many different students in many different stages of life. I have taught Serbian to many foreign exchange students in Serbia, they were either an absolute beginners or they were advanced students who just wanted a bit of confidence in their skills.
