With 25 years of teaching experience (20 as an independent tutor), I specialize in structured, school-style lessons tailored to your goals. A scheduled lesson becomes part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what we have been doing, thus it is easy for me to check the content of our previous sessions. I used to teach students in physical classrooms. In 2021 I started using Skype for my lessons (today it's Teams) and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our lessons, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same. My lessons can be conducted in any of the following languages: German Slovenian English French Swedish Danish Norwegian Italian Spanish Dutch Esperanto I try to conduct my lessons in a way that resembles the conventional school as much as possible. Meaning a thorough explanation of the grammar with several carefully tailored examples, exercises, homework, checking the student's progress, listening and reading comprehensions and once the student's knowledge progresses sufficiently, having a conversation.

In the last 10 years I have visited more than 50 countries on 6 different continents. Having lived abroad myself (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand...), I know how challenging it can be to adapt to a new country and language. I went to a Spanish school in Colombia for 3 weeks in October 2024. I succeeded and my Spanish is now at level B2. I live in Peru now, because my fiancée is from here and she was my first student. Teaching other people in any way has always made me happy and in 2018 I taught English to children in a Gambian school (volunteering in Africa). As a patient and relaxed teacher I am very adaptable to your needs. Because I respect your time (and money) that you invested in our lesson, I will always prepare as much as possible and be punctual. I keep a record for each student, so that I don't forget what we did the previous lesson. Most importantly: my goal is to teach you as much Slovenian as possible in the shortest possible time!
