Daily Conversation In Indonesian

"Kabar baik/ Saya baik" same meaning with (I'm doing great/I'm good". it's it basically the same with English answer expressions, this is the way to answer in a good way/politely.

"Selamat Pagi!/Selamat Siang!/Selamat Sore!" this is like a common greeting to start a conversation instead say "How are you" First, you can use this greeting expression to look like local Indonesian people.

"Mau kemana?" same meaning as "Where do you going?". this question is very common to ask somebody we already know or our Indonesian friends because it's the friendly question.

"Izin tanya?/Mau bertanya?" same meaning as "Want to ask". This is a common thing we do as Indonesian people, it could be asking the direction or asking about some place we are not sure where.

"Berapa harganya?" same meaning as "How much?" this question we use at traditional markets/traditional stores we can find easily in Indonesia place. this question helps us to know the price of stuff first before buy it.

"Bisakah saya menawarnya!" same meaning as " Can I get the best price". this expression we use at we ask/ make a deal for some stuff we want to buy and ask the best price the seller can offer to us.

"Terima Kasih!"  same meaning as "Thank you!/Thanks" This expression we use after getting service from somebody or saying thanks to somebody help us to figure out some things.

"Apa kabar/bagaimana kabarnya" same meaning with "how are you". this expression usually uses when we meet friends or somebody we know and we want to ask about they are feeling. This is a common question expression.

"Permisi" same meaning as "Excuse me" This expression we use at we walk by somebody beside us and ask permission to walk by from there.
