Understanding the “Laziness Factor”
When you’re feeling lazy about learning a language, it usually means you’re lacking motivation or genuine interest. Although research shows that motivation is a critical driver of engagement in learning, you have to be aware that not all motivation is the same. This is because there’s intrinsic motivation (which is interest that comes from inside you) and extrinsic motivation (which are rewards and incentives that come from outside you). To keep moving forward, it helps to know which type of motivation works best for you.

To Overcome Your Laziness, You Have To Find A Personal Connection With The Language You Are Learning.
If you’re struggling with motivation, tapping into internal interest can help. Studies show that people are more likely to engage in activities they find personally meaningful. Here are some ways to cultivate this type of interest when the thought of language learning makes you lazier by the second.

こんにちは！
Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

今日は、ーについて。

今日は久しぶりに朝、近くの公園を歩きました。
ここは青葉公園、というところです。
人が少なくて、とてもきれいな自然がある公園です。
歩くと5キロぐらい歩くこともできます。
個人的にとても好きな公園です。

今日は雪も降っていましたが、気温は-1℃ぐらいでいつもより寒くなかったです。

雪が積もっている公園はとてもきれいです。
これだけで、北海道に住んでよかったなと思います。
今日は久しぶりにシカもみました！

4,5匹いました。
少しあったかいから外に出てきたんですかね。
神社の近くに座っていました。

いつも通りリスもみました。
リスはどれだけ寒い時も、クルミの木の近くにいていつも何かを食べています。たくましいですね。

30-40分ぐらい歩いて、公園をぬけます。
公園のとなりには千歳川、というこれもまたきれいな川があります。この川沿い、川のとなりを歩いて戻ります。

雪が積もると、夏とはまったくちがう景色になります。
そんな川をながめながら歩きます。

そして、30分ぐらいで家の方まで帰ってきます。
久しぶりに歩いたので少しつかれましたが、やっぱり気持ちいい場所でした。
