Tourism & Hospitality: Is there someone who works at the hotel? Hello guys! I'd like to get some usefull advices from you. If you have ever worked in the hotel, please share your experience. I feel myself nervous cause soon I'll work at the 5 stars hotel. I'm a student of interpretation/translation. English is my third language after french and spanish. As a student of third year I have to pass my practice and it's necessary to applicate my language skills. Honestly, I don't have any experience in tourism sphere and hospitality services but I'd like to try and there is no way out cause I already passed the interview and they accepted me. I'll work with foreign clients. My responsibilities are to interpretate all the information, to explain how to get from one place to another, to help with the kitchen menu( like to make an order, etc) I dont ant to fail at my first day. I'll try to smail and be polite. What do you think about this work? I'd be happy to hear from you all the stuff you know...
