I dag var min første time. Vi presenterte oss, og jeg kunne rolig forklare læringsbakgrunnen og målene mine. Torkil er veldig tålmodig og tar notater om viktige uttrykk som dukker opp under samtalen. Dette gjør at jeg kan repetere timen senere når jeg har tid. Tusen takk!

Torkil is very patient and it's fun to talk to him. This way I can check what I already know to say. At the end, there's a word list with the newly introduced words or expressions. That's very helpful.

A good lesson. Was able to increase the amount of time i could carry out a conversation in Norwegian despite my restricted vocabulary. During the lesson my comprehension of the study subject I was given last week was tested. We also reviewed some areas of grammar that I was not fully understanding. I was given enough knowledge to now go on to consolidate through self study. My pronunciation was corrected and practiced throughout the lesson. We discussed and agreed my self study areas and tasks for next lesson. Thanks to Torkil I enjoyed the lesson, feel I made some good progress this week, and am looking forward to our next on line meeting.
