Objectively summarizing oneself can be daunting, so I often let my students form their own impressions. Reflecting on my own education, I still recall the stern, results-driven teachers—memorable more for their pressure than their presence. In contrast, the educators who left a true mark were those who taught with humor, patience, and empathy. I think of them as hyggelig—a Norwegian word often translated as “pleasant” or “cozy,” but which carries a deeper, almost untranslatable sense of warmth, connection, and genuine human presence.レッスン形式・教え方
