I have been teaching since 5 years ago. My first experience in teaching was being a tutor for college freshmen to help them get a good score for their TOEFL test. I'm currently an English private tutor for Junior high school students. It would be such a pleasure for me to be able to teach Indonesian as my own native language to people worldwide.

For me, being a community tutor is also a great way to introduce my culture.

I have taught children from ages 6-12 for volunteering. In our class I would love to let you choose whatever topics you are interested to. However, I also have my own topics that you might interested to. So we will not wasting our time choosing the topics.

I value learning and knowledge sharing. This is why I would like to share my understanding and experience related to the Indonesian language and culture, and help improve your skills. In the past, I worked as a volunteer for a year as an English teacher for local students in West Java, as part of a community-development program. I have also helped fellow students in Australia learn the Indonesian language.

Making learning languages fun and dynamic. Why should you be bored while learning? Growing up in a non-English-speaking family, I had no prior experience living in an English-speaking environment. So, it may come as a surprise that I am fluent in English. Over time, I have discovered effective and enjoyable methods that helped me learn a completely different language from my mother tongue. I believe that the key to learning a new language is to start with the student's interests. Therefore, I always use their interests as an approach to learning the language, be it English or Indonesian.

In 2018, I taught English to foreign learners (Indonesians). Now I teach Indonesian to foreigners. They mainly come from Germany, Netherlands, UK, and Philippines. Therefore, I’m experienced in teaching both English and Indonesian to non-native speakers.

I believe students should first trust their teacher in order to have a dynamic learning environment. I have become aware that teaching is not really about teaching, it’s about learning. Make a lesson schedule 2. Preparing lesson materials 3. Determining assessment standards 4. Prepare practice questions, and 5. Conducting the test With all of those things, I ventured into teaching at italki.

Bachelor Degree in Education I have been teaching almost 8 years. I have a lot of studens from different country, of course different characher and dialect. In this case, I do not require my students to speak perfectly. I teach slowly according to the student needs.
