Aiming for greater progress As a teacher I try to understand personal needs of every single student. I like to use interactive materials and bring fun to the lesson. Very important to me is also to dissolve the initial fear of speaking of students and I encourage them to speak from the very beginning. I have teaching experience with kids, teenagers and adults. I have been teaching English and Italian for 6 years and I would like to teach you these beautiful languages. Just because teaching is my passion!

In generale, sono una persona molto precisa e mi impegno molto in ciò che faccio, insegnamento compreso. Mi piace scegliere accuratamente i materiali di studio: la mia priorità è rendere la lezione interessante, ricca, ma anche piacevole, in modo da rendere l'apprendimento il più appassionante possibile. L'atmosfera con me è distesa, informale, ma concentrata e precisa; sono molto paziente, quindi non ti preoccupare se farai qualche errore: solo gli errori ci permettono di migliorare!

Mi chiamo Simonetta e vivo in Italia. Da sempre mi affascina tutto ciò che ha a che fare con le lingue straniere. Parlo tedesco, inglese e spagnolo ad un buon livello; ma c'è sempre un modo per capirsi! La vita di ogni giorno è un ottimo spunto per agganciarsi ad altri argomenti e discutere diversi temi. Credo che destreggiarsi nella conversazione sia lo scopo di quasi tutti quelli che desiderano imparare una lingua straniera. Posso proporre esercizi di grammatica, vocabolario o comprensione. Quello che secondo me è più importante, però, è la comprensione della lingua orale. Per questo cerco di dare più importanza alla conversazione, soprattutto se riguarda eventi quotidiani. Poiché ritengo che la lettura sia un buon metodo per migliorare la pronuncia, posso ascoltare volentieri chi desideri leggere.

I'm a certified Italian teacher for foreigners and I started with private lessons both online and in presence. So far, my students have expressed satisfaction about my lessons, because I'm flexible in my schedule and very focused on their goals. In my lessons, I follow an inductive methodology, which means that, as a guide in the learning process of the students, I help them to discover by themselves the rules that govern the various linguistic aspects. I think that this methodology is much more effective than other more traditional methods, since it allows better internalize what has been learned.

Languages graduate with experience in teaching I have been studying languages since I was a child and I know how much it is important to be patient and constant. Above all, you need to keep your motivation high and for this reason, I want you to get curious to know more about Italian culture!

I help learners of all levels start speaking Italian from day one, adapting each lesson to your needs and goals. My approach focuses on conversation, reading and writing, using simple stories and real-life context to make grammar easier and more natural. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident while learning. After each lesson, you’ll receive Google Docs with materials so you can review and practice independently.
