Pendant plus de 10 ans, j’ai formé des étudiants en bac pro commerce, MUC (Management des Unités Commerciales) et Force de Vente, des BTS MUC et des licences Banque Assurance. J’ai été plusieurs années de suite (8 ans) Jury pour les examens de fin d’année de ces divers niveaux. La formation continue, le dialogue, la pédagogie fait partie intégrante de ma façon d’enseigner. Je suis très à l’écoute des besoins de mes élèves pour leur permettre de prendre confiance en eux et qu’ils se sentent à l’aise dans la façon de s’exprimer tant en français qu’en espagnol.

Welcome Aboard to Your Spanish Adventure! ;] I have been not only a certified DELE examiner by the Cervantes Institute, but also a former public school teacher and a private language one for students of all levels and backgrounds. I like to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you’ll feel free to speak and make mistakes — because, IMHO, that’s how real learning happens. I sincerely believe every student is unique, and it’s a real pleasure to build meaningful connections with them. To me, teaching is a mutual journey of sharing and discovery.

As mentioned, I believe having a native grasp in both English and Spanish is an advantage. It allows me to easily translate idiomatic concepts and expressions that don’t have literal equivalent from one language to the other. I can draw meaning from my native understanding of both languages (and my experience in using both in daily life) to find the right examples and the closest translations from the source to the target language. I studied linguistics and, even though it is generally not required for a language teacher to be trained in linguistics, there is a growing number of experts in the community who believe it's a huge plus. I've drawn countless knowledge from it to teach.

On the other hand, I also have experience helping graduated students to write their academic texts in English and Spanish. I consider myself a curious, outgoing, cheerful and funny person. Also, I always love to talk about very varied or deep topics, so I will always be open to any good discussion. I believe that I am a person who knows how to listen, besides being able to have good conversations and to know how to lead the threads of the same ones to make them interesting and dynamic. I believe that the basis of any spoken language is to have confidence in oneself and in how to say things.
