EMPOWERING people through language learning for more than 6 years I've got over 3 years of experience teaching Portuguese and English online, and before that I used to be an English tutor for adults, which gives me 7 years of experience. I'm very patient with my students and I encourage them to make mistakes because that's the only way they can learn. Details are very important to me, so I tend to focus on them; things such as pronunciation, accent mark( if we are writing ), sentence structure are very important. I like to correct without interrupting so I usually let my students finish their sentence before giving them a tip.

My students often say that I am patient, friendly and at the same time always focused on helping the student to improve. I adapt the lessons and teaching methods according to the learning style, goals and needs of each student. I take my job very seriously, so I do my best to help each student make significant progress. CELTA certification acquired in December 2020. My experience started in 2018 in Peru where I taught English in two language schools for a year. In the meantime I applied to be a community tutor here at Italki where I have been teaching not only English but also Portuguese and Spanish. My passion for teaching only grew with the time so I took a CELTA certificate in the end of 2020 and this experience provided me with a solid base and opened the way in many aspects of my career.
