🕒 Simple Past Struggles? You’re Not Alone! Something I notice a lot, even with intermediate English learners, is how tricky the simple past can be, especially in the negative form. In positive sentences, it’s intuitive: ✔ I knew about the meeting. ✔ We watched a movie. ✔ She called me yesterday. But in the negative… suddenly it changes! ❌ I didn’t knew about the meeting. ← Oops! ✔ I didn’t know about the meeting. ✅ ❌ I didn’t watched the movie. ← Oops! ✔ I didn’t watch the movie. ✅ ❌ She didn’t called me yesterday. ← Oops! ✔ She didn’t call me yesterday ✅ Even though the action is in the past, after “didn’t,” we go back to the base form of the verb (think of the infinitive form). 🕰️ didn’t know (to know) 🕰️ didn’t watch (to watch) 🕰️ didn’t call (to call) Today, this clicked for one of my students. Currently here in Cambodia, one thing I’ve learned while teaching a class of Khmer kids is the energy they have and the resilience they put when wanting to know something. My students show high intelligence and sure some students are less proficient than others but to me no one is “less intelligent” when it comes to learning a new language it’s either they are shy or not motivated enough, as a teacher we should gauge their interests based on what they play or do so that we can create lesson activities from games they enjoy!

I changed my hair color, today. Because I will take a picture which is a 20years old celebration picture. So,I want to be my best visual before taking it. I’ll put on Japanese traditional clothe, Kimono(Hurisode). I hope to take a good photo. Is there a culture of taking pictures like this outside of Japan?

I like watching movies in my free time! However, I can't watch movies because I have no enough time to watch it for finishing. If I can go home early I almost sleep to take a rest.
