Today was my first day going to university after recovering from the flu. I had a class from the second period, but I could not get there in time, so I went from the third period. I was still not completely recovered, so going to university was a little difficult, but I did my best and got through the whole day. I was not supposed to work part-time today, but one of my coworkers could not come to work, so I worked instead. I have a class from the first period tomorrow, so I thought I should not work today. However, many people helped me by taking my shifts when I had the flu, so I wanted to help them this time. I could not eat anything for about two days when I had the flu. Even after that, my appetite has not completely come back, and I still do not have my energy back. I hope I can slowly get back to my normal life. There are still many things I have to do, such as sending emails to my university teachers and submitting some documents that I could not do while I had the flu. I will make sure to do them without forgetting. I have classes tomorrow, but after that, I have a part-time job on Saturday afternoon, and then I will have a break. So I will do my best for just a little longer, but I will try not to push myself too hard.

I watch my sons play baseball on weekends and holidays. Before they started playing baseball, I didn’t know anything about how to play baseball and the rule of the game. Lately, I sometimes do the PA announcing at youth baseball games. I've been studying the rules, so I understand the game much better than before!

I had classes starting with the first period today. I was really sleepy, but I managed to get up on time. It was a class on the internet, and as someone who’s addicted to my smartphone, I found the lecture really interesting. My second class was French—I’m really bad at it, but I did my best. I’m going to hang out with friends in Kichijoji later. We haven’t decided exactly what to do yet, but the weather is really nice today and the temperature is just right, so I think I’d like to go for a walk. I have classes starting with the first period tomorrow too, so I think I’ll head home early and get some sleep.
