What other significant outcomes will follow once you achieve your primary objective? Often, these secondary, less obvious goals are actually more meaningful. Yet, because they aren’t in our conscious awareness, we miss the opportunity to pursue them directly. This is why I incorporate coaching into my method. It enables my students to clarify these secondary objectives, clear any roadblocks, and conquer them along the way. In this paradigm, the original goal becomes less of a mountain to climb and more of a stepping stone, because you approach it with a ‘I care, but not that much’ attitude. This mindset shift makes it so much easier to achieve, and from there it’s easy sailing!
