Help me, please, to understand this phrasal verb, can't find it anywhere on the Internet: "He stood among the people, and this drunkard kept PUSHING UP AGAINST him and saying, “I told you to get back. Now get back... ". It seems to mean just 'to push a person with force', but before this part there is no context prooving that the drunkard tried to hurt another man mentioned, so I'm in two minds now...
