Which English language do you prefer to learn? I have been learning British English for around ten years. Why did I choose British English to study? The reason for that you might not easily guess, it is because of our country’s general English textbooks are written by British English, I pick it up easier to the others. About six years ago, I came across the fact that there are many kinds of accents of speaking English. And I felt hard to understand the conversations those accents were different from I was learning at that time. To level up my listening, I ought to listen to speaking of people who come from different regions. In all sorts of accents, I like the modern RP, general American English pronunciation and Yorkshire accent. The modern RP is easy to speak to me. The GAEP is easier to understand while I was in a conversation, maybe I heard that a lot. Moreover, I feel like Yorkshire accent sounds cheerful. What accents do you like?
