Day 226/365 Good evening! It's Saturday night, so tomorrow will be my last day and on Monday I'll be free! On Mondays are my day off, probably is unusual, but I'm used to this things. We cooked okroshka. This is a very old traditional Russian dish. "Okroshka" this is a cold soup with chopped vegetables and meat or fish. At first, kvass was taken as the main ingredient, but nowadays you can use different drinks such mineral water, WHEY, kefir. Here, in China I always make it with WHEY, because after I've made cottage cheese I always have this one, so it's very good way to use everything! ----- I bake chicken fillet, and then chop it into little pieces. ----- Potatoes and eggs boil, take a beautiful cucumber and then CHOP UP all these too. -----After that finely chop the herbs and mix all ingredients together and put it in the fridge at least 1 hour. P. s. Certainly, add some salt and pepper for your own taste. ----- now , you can get it ,take a good bowl , put there some cold vegetables with chicken and add cold whey + one spoon of sour cream or yougurt ( not sweet) . Bon appetit! It's really good especially in the summer!
