I prepare a PowerPoint presentation with pronunciation tips (and accents), introduction to phonetic symbols (Portuguese phonetic tips) and the sounds of Brazilian Portuguese, isolated vocabularies and then small everyday phrases using such vocabulary, idioms, cultural curiosities and small doses of grammar when necessary. The student will be monitored during the class and I will always be attentive to corrections and improvements.

Hello everybody, I've been teaching Portuguese as a second language for about 9 years and the nicest thing is when I can see my students improving. I'm a 33 year-old Brazilian, actress, Journalist and artist. I taught english for 2 years and a half, including almost a year teaching in Turkey (2015). I graduated in Communication and have studied linguistics, with a particular focus on phonetics - so if you feel you're stagnant on the language, or maybe you're having trouble with pronunciation, or want to perfect your pronunciation, or strengthen your ability to communicate and build track of thought talk to me. Classes can be fun and at the same time challenging.

In my class they are formatted to pass the exam, following the guidelines set by the Portuguese examination center. Additionally, I've had a growing number of students preparing for DAPLE exams (C1). Recently, there has been a notable increase in students relocating to Portugal, reflecting its rising popularity as a destination. This trend requires a different approach for teaching. I have also taught children and teens for quite some time.
