I'm from Brazil and I've been living in France for six years now, where I've done a master's degree in French Linguistics. I'm passionate about foreign languages. While studying them and also while exchanging with people from different countries, not only have I improved my teaching skills, but I also have learned a lot of things about my own language too! After discovering the Silent Way method and reading a lot about it, I got even more enthusiastic about teaching, because it's just amazing. It's a learner-focused approach and you should definitely try it. I've been teaching Portuguese and French in person and also on the internet for over two years now. I'm mostly looking for students who want to learn French or Portuguese. Also looking for language partners who want to learn those languages and who speak Mandarin, German, Italian or English fluently.

Vítor has a very good pronunciation and basic Turkish vocabulary. We went through reading basic dialogs and he made notes on vowel sounds. Because he is a teacher and has high degree on linguistics, he will learn Turkish easily.

    Die Position von "auch" in einem Satz Hallo zusammen :) Ich würde gerne wissen, in welcher Position das Wort "auch" in einem Satz verwendet werden sollte. Ich gebe euch ein Beispiel: Ich treffe JEMANDEN, den ich nicht kenne, und sage ihm, dass ich Brasilianer bin. Danach sagt er: a) Auch ich bin Brasilianer! b) Ich auch bin Brasilianer! c) Ich bin auch Brasilianer! d) Ich bin Brasilianer auch! e) Ich auch! f) Auch ich! Vielleicht ist der Satz (e) der natürlichste, aber wenn du den ganzen Satz verwenden müsstest, welchen Satz oder welche Sätze würdest du wählen? Sind alle möglich und natürlich in der gesprochenen Sprache? Danke im Voraus! Ich wäre noch glücklicher, wenn du MEINEN Text verbessern könntest ;) *Korrekturen: mein > meinen (der Text, männlich) ; mit einem Kerl treffen > einen Kerl treffen (jdn treffen, oder in anderen Kontexten: sich mit jdm treffen) ; einen Kerl > jemanden (negativer Beigeschmack)

    What language mistakes are and why we all make them Hi everyone! I am supposed to write an abstract for a conference and that's the first time I write something like that. Could you help me to correct it please? Thank you so much!!! In light of Frei's grammar, I will explain what mistakes really are and why we all make them. The author of the book analyses the French language from a functional point of view and opposes faute (mistake) and déficit (deficit), two essential concepts within his theory. Given their proper definitions, I will demonstrate why mistakes do not represent a weakness for a given language. On the contrary, they seek to break the artificial rules imposed by the normative system, in order to render the language more consistent and communication less complicated for the speakers. Finally, I will discuss the five fundamental principles that guide each natural language in the world, namely analogy, clarity, economy, invariability and expressivity. For each of these principles, I will give concrete examples of their functioning and analyse their importance in oral and written language.

    Opa, Davi! Você é brasileiro? Se sim, qual das duas formas soa mais natural pra você? Por que não usar essa forma? Eu não acho nenhuma das duas formas "feliz aniversário e muito(s) músculo(s)" estranha ^^ Mesma coisa pra "ganhar muito(s) músculo(s)"... acho as duas naturais... e no Google você acha algumas frases com os dois resultados também. Talvez eu falasse isso de outro jeito... algo como "Ele tá ficando musculoso", "Ele tá fortinho agora", "Você tá chei' dos músculos agora"... Ou você está perguntando aqui mais pra saber o que é considerado "correto" gramaticalmente? Se você quiser saber se os gramáticos aprovam "muito" no singular, não é uma questão tão fácil, porque aparentemente poucos mencionam esse tipo de construção nas gramáticas... mas tem muitos autores que escrevem e usam esse tipo de frase.     valeu, Carolina! eu também sou brasileiro... e, igual você, eu usaria apenas a C e a D, tanto na fala quanto na escrita! queria principalmente saber como os portugueses falam ^^
