For the past 10+ years I have been working as a translator, reviser, interpreter and language teacher. I have a Bachelor and Master level professional degree in translation and interpretation. My teaching experience is about 5 years – in private, in groups up to 20 people and online. I have various experience, but personally prefer helping beginners and intermediate language users to improve their skills, especially speaking, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. As someone who used to stutter and dislike languages (and especially the pesky grammar), getting into intense-self-studies to improve my English became my origin story. I worked as teacher for English in my hometown for 2 years afterward, after acquiring a C2 certificate from Cambridge. This encouraged me to also intensely study and re-fresh the German grammar, phonetics and teaching techniques (didactic) before starting to teach it online full-time. (it included a lot of head-shaking, and I’m a native) Through that, and my pursuit to master art I don’t believe in inherited talent, but pursued interest. Everyone can, through dedication, practice and fun, learn to speak a foreign language.

You don't have to struggle with endless amounts of grammar exercises, studying grammar books or long lists of vocabulary in order to gain fluidity. Before children learn about grammar rules in school they are about 10 years and speak fluently. I have been tutoring children and teenagers for 10 years now and concentrating on conversations mostly as well as keeping them motivated is one of the most essential tools.
