Yo, como tutor de la comunidad, ofrezco dar mi máxima atención y comprensión para que el alumno pueda desarrollar un aprendizaje divertido y fluido, usando todos los recursos que estén a mi alcance. Como contaba en mi video de presentación, en mi experiencia trabajando en hosterías y viviendo en una ciudad turística, lo cual me acercó mucho a conocer personas de diversos países, es que comprendí que una de las mejores maneras de aprender un idioma, es conversar con la gente. Es en ese mismo proceso natural de tener una simple charla, donde el interés por aprender otro idioma, da lugar a que el aprendizaje se de, de una forma simple, divertida y gracias a Italki eso es posible.

My goal as a teacher is to create a space in which students have the opportunity to have an enriching experience that transcends academic boundaries. Especially as ELE teachers, I think that the cultural aspects of our country and of Spanish in general are inherent to teaching. From my personal experience I know that learning a new language implies acquiring a new vision of life and expanding our consciousness to a world of new possibilities and that is what I always try to convey to my students.

I feel that if my students are enjoying the class they will learn more effeciently. Each person is unique, so I like to adapt to everyone following their interests. I like to make them feel comfortable. Encouraging them to feel confident speaking by not correcting them too much when they speak, so they are not interrupted and they can complete their ideas while creating sentences. I like using humor because I think is a part of my philosophy of life, and always helps with breaking the ice and increasing comfort.

Most of the Spanish I teach is generic, so it can be used in any Spanish-speaking country. There may be some words or expresions however that are specifically Spanish from Spain, which is the one I use the most.
