Hi all, I recently had a session with an individual who has an interview in English and he is very nervous because he does not want to make mistakes. However, I'll pass along the advice that I gave him and that is to embrace imperfection. Yes, the interview will require some level of English to be successful but the main goal of an interview is to see what your personality is like and if you'd be a good asset to their team. When we're worried about getting every word right, it can prevent us from being calm, comfortable and showcasing our true personality. So simply be at ease, speak as well as you can without stressing yourself out and more than anything, show them your personality as that is often the key to getting a second interview 👍
