"When I googled about Vietnam, I came across the information on Ho Tram."

There aren't really any hard-and-fast rules about such a new verb as "google", but normally I see and hear it used most often without a preposition before the direct object.
You wouldn't want to use the definite article "the" before "information", unless you'd already referred to that information in a previous sentence. From the context, that doesn't seem to be the case.
I would suggest:
When I googled "Vietnam", I came across some information about Ho Tram.
