'Lovely' is often used when something is nice, sweet or wholesome. You could have a lovely dinner with your family, someone could give you a lovely present, or someone could be a lovely person.

I use lovely a lot. What a lovely day! He has a lovely smile. She has a lovely personally. You look lovely in that dress. I had a lovely time I probably overuse it to be honest 🙂
