Papillon is the name of a movie that I watched last week. It was so interesting to watch as it is based on true events. Someone is accused of a murder and as a result he is jailed on a remote island in South America belonging to France. He tries to flee but fails and as a result he is sentenced to two years of solitary confinement. Then, he tries again to flee with three other prisoners but they quarrel on the boat. Later, they reach another island but they are recognized by the inhabitants as fugitives. The authorities capture them again and send them back to prison. They decide to send them to a deserted island where there is no hope to flee or survive. Finally, Papillon manages to flee that island when he makes a boat that sails at the mercy of the waves, leading him to freedom.
