Harry, an unintelligent criminal tries to make a
decision about the crime of the day. After getting up very late, Harry has had a
simple breakfast and is thinking about his plan for the day.
"It seems to be a
good day for crime because winter is over and the first warm days
brings the people to the parks and cafés. They want to enjoy the sunshine and will be
careless with there bags and wallets. How can I get the most money with less
effort- he asks himself. As long as the people are spending time in the parks, I
could commit a burglary. I was very good in my youth as a burglar, no window
could stop me. But to be honest my back is hurting and after climbing and
jumping I will have swollen knees - this time it'is over. What about some good old
mugging? I still have my mask and no one will identify me as the mugger. But,
it´s warm and after the last two years with this virus which must not be named,
I´m fed up with wearing a mask. Pickpocketing could be an option, I´m sure there
will be some old ladies with a lot of cash in there bags. But I still remember my
last try as a pickpocker. This furious old madam beat me so hard with her
walking stick, I had bruises for days. No thanks, I´m too old for this. Why not
do some shoplifting? I would like to have new shoes. But the last time I did
it the security man from the shop caught me and dragged me to the police
station. I got arrested and as the judge pleaded me guilty for stealing the shoes
I got a suspended sentence. I appealed against the conviction because I
couldn´t carry out the crime fully because the security man run after me and
I forgot one shoe in the shop. So I argued with: "half loot half punishment". But
the judge didn´t had any sene of humor. I could also sell some drugs in the
park, but then the police will come to my house again and after this unannounced
dawn raids over and over again, they will leave the house in chaos and then I will have
the biggest problem of all - an angry wife."
