If you have some knowledge about Chinese,you must know there're two words to describe it:Chinese and Mandarin.Mandarin is modern standard Chinese according to the country's language policy,whereas Chinese represents all the languages that Chinese people speak.

Mandarin 在汉语里翻译成“普通话”，而Chinese则可以翻译成“中文”“汉语“”中国话”等几个意思却是很少为汉语学习者所知的。可是，为什么会这样呢？
