I have a question. Can two language learners really benefit one another? I feel that having a partner who also is learning the same language does actually have a negative effect. What do you think, especially those who tried it before?

Yes, two language learners can benefit each other, but it depends on various factors. The benefits include improved fluency and confidence through regular practice, staying motivated and accountable, and offering constructive feedback. However, there are potential downsides, such as reinforcing each other’s mistakes and a lack of exposure to advanced language input. To maximize benefits, learners should supplement their practice with language apps, tutors, or native speakers, follow structured lessons, and make an effort to correct each other’s mistakes. In summary, peer practice is useful, especially for building speaking confidence and staying motivated, but it should be combined with other learning methods for the best results.
