Hi everyone! While being covid positive I wanted to share some thoughts. I've been using italki for about a year so far and I'm really happy to have made that decision. I strongly believe that my English has improved in so many aspects, even if I'm aware of the fact that I'm still far from what I call "talking like a native". One year ago I was terrified of English, I was unconfident and felt inferior compared to so many people who I heard spoke really good English. I know that I'm still making mistakes, that my vocabulary is not wide as I'd want it to be and that the road is still long in order to achieve a complete fluency but I'm working hard on it and I'm grateful to have joined this Community.

I think that the best gift parents can gige to their children is love and support. In some ways it’s true that “money can buy us happiness” but when it comes to family, an expensive gift is worth nothing compared to a hug or words of love and support.
