Hi there :-)
My name is John, and I am 47 years old. I was born and raised in the southern part of Denmark. I am married to Marianne (for 25 years now). Together with our two teenage boys, we decided to move to Poland in 2019. But in 2023 we decided to take the next step for our family and moved to Italy, where we live now.Ik als leerkracht
I am patient and focus on a calm and relaxed atmosphere as the best learning environment :-)
Since we moved to Poland, me and my wife have been home teaching our two boys, hence I know (and love) to teach one to one. Also, I know how to make the lesson interesting, based on the students interests and age.

I will try to customize my teaching to you, and your needs and wishes, and always in a calm and comfortable atmosphere. I can teach you Danish, from the very beginning or as more skilled. The lessons can consist of conversations, short video clips, songs (if you like) and also grammar. If you want to learn faster, I can prepare homework as well.
As I speak English, German and Croatian – I can teach from these languages to Danish, but I will focus on talking Danish in the lessons.Mijn lesmateriaal

Es macht viel Spaß mit John zu lernen. Er zeigt einem, wo man Fehler macht, sagt einem aber auch, wenn man etwas gut macht. Ich freue mich auf die nächste Stunde!

I had a wonderful time with John. I lived in Denmark many years ago, not that far from where he is from--and I wanted to practice my Danish. I think this will be a very good fit for me, as I need to work on my spelling and other things that I totally missed when I was learning how to speak the language by ear. He was very easy to speak with and seems to have a fine sense of humor--very important when you are fascinated by a language that is not your mother tongue.
