Native German and Polish speaker with over 5 years teaching experience I have always had a huge passion for languages and cultural exchanges, thus helping others improve their communication skills in different areas is a dream come true! I've learned a lot of new languages over the years, which is why I understand which techniques work best for having fun while effectively making progress.

When I was 15, I spent six months at a high school in Australia. Later, I helped giving math lessons for a whole year in Botswana – teaching it in English. I’ve worked as a ski instructor, teaching people of all ages, languages and backgrounds and that taught me how to be patient, how to explain things in different ways, and how to keep people motivated, even when it gets tough. I also worked for three years as a mentor for volunteers. During that time, I planned and led a ton of seminars – and realized that what I really enjoy is making things understandable and relevant.

I started teaching German professionally in 2017. In a project for refugees, I taught several levels simultaneously within a group - from literacy to B2. The focus here was on communication and pronunciation. I led trips and excursions in line with the subject areas to put the language into practice. In my opinion, this is the greatest motivation when learning a language - realising that you can use it in everyday life!

I’m a passionate community tutor with more than 8 years of teaching languages on every level I would like to give you the chance to discover the german language and culture. I gave english and german classes at a University in Colombia. Therefore, I have experience in teaching in a classroom, as well teaching online through iTalki since 2017. I do speak German, English, Spanish and a bit of Turkish, but I would consider the fourth language as a bit rusty.

Fluent in English too, I chose to specialize in my native language due to the importance of correct pronunciation. A non-native teacher may unintentionally pass on pronunciation vices to their students. Deutsch: 2004, nach meinem Umzug nach Brasilien, stellte ich einen Mangel an muttersprachlichen Deutschlehrern fest. Dieser Bedarf motivierte mich, 2006 meinen Weg als Privatlehrer zu beginnen und meine Lehrmethoden kontinuierlich zu verbessern.
