I’m a firm believer in the principle of “learning by doing”. If you want to improve your German, you need to spend a lot of time using the German language, speaking it, hearing it, reading it, and writing it. That’s what I want to help you with. My lessons are all about you actively using the German language. I adjust my lessons to your level and your specific goals. I give you feedback about your pronunciation, your grammar, and your choice of words and tell you how to improve. I write down important things from the lesson in a document and send it to you. I offer conversation practice (free conversations or structured conversation praxis), textbook-based lessons, and test preparation.

I want to improve people’s language skills and take their fear of learning a new language. Learning a new language is not difficult. It is practice and courage. Most important about learning a new language is speaking. I focus a lot on correct pronunciation and talking like local people. Important : Currently, I am only accepting students who already know how to speak basic German.

Experienced teacher new on italki I have extensive experience teaching English and German to students of all ages - from babies to seniors. I'm teaching in kindergartens (<- if you understand this you already know some German...HURRAHH), universities, schools and companies. Many of my students have done their Goethe-Exam and so far non of them have failed. German grammar can be tricky but my goal is to turn you into a fluent speaker and not into a grammar expert.

Let's neglect the difficult grammar for a while and you will be surprised how soon you will be able to comunicate! Let me give you an example: What if I said: "Have he cat?" instead of "Does he have a cat?" - It's wrong, but totally understandable! -> So if you say "Er haben Katze?" instead of "Hat er eine Katze?" everybody will be able to understand you!
