I have a deeper understanding of the struggles that students face since I had to relearn to reconnect with my own culture. I know learning a language needs a bit of push so I like to offer student a plan for individual learning curves. During our lessons, I lead the class depending on the needs of each student. I focus on cultivating good habits in learning because I think that is the most important part of learning something new. I also like to make sure you get a positive image in mind in learning process. 🙇🏻‍♀️

I have an open mind and really enjoy meeting people from different countries. I have had lots of language exchange experiences with people from Asia, North/South America, Europe, Africa and Oceania, literally all over the world. My foreign friends usually tell me one or two things, firstly that I am a good teacher who is very kind, funny and patient and also that I am diligent and know how to get good results. Actually, it was my foreign friends who encouraged me to apply for this job.

You can finish learning Hangeul in about 5 classes (2 weeks). 2. Beginner (A1-A2) - Usually consistent students (2 times a week) get to A2 level when they finish 20 classes with me. Which is about 3 months. This level, you can speak present/past/future tense naturally and we can communicate with easy expressions. 3. Intermediate (B1-B2): Now it's time to focus on Sino-Korean words. We will try to expand our expressions - use different speaking grammars that have the same meaning and get the intention of speaking. You will be trained to distinguish which expressions are more appropriate by the situation.

I have taught English to Chinese students at the beginner level and also adults when I was living for 3 months in Lviv, Ukraine. The way I taught my English classes with adults is taking excerpts from a podcast and discussing at length the conversation taking place. The way I like to learn languages is mainly through Anki, but also through conversation. We can discuss your goals and can come up with a strategy to reach the Intermediate Plateau (B2 level) in the target language that you would like to learn whether it be English or Korean.

After I settled here in Latin America, I wanted to help them out with language skills, so I had 1 group class once a week, and several private classes for 3 years. Currently it is hard to make group classes because of this situation, so I am willing to teach students online.
