Hi everyone!! I’m looking for a partner to practice English vocabulary, maybe 1 hour of conversation in google meet per day or we can combine together. I also speak spanish and portuguese if is interesting for you,we can practice these idioms too.

ex: 01-..He had been training hard that year. It had been years of effort... 02-..He had trained hard that year. It had been years of effort.. Someone is telling a story about an athlete and the Olympic Games of 1992. Are both of them correct? Are there slightly differences?

"He walked like a man half in his cup." How can I understand this description? I feel like it's very vivid, but I can't picture it. Thanks in advance!
