   a. Better late than never - It's better to do something late than to not do it at all.
      Example: "He finally apologized, saying better late than never."
   b. Kill time - To occupy oneself during a period of waiting or when there's nothing else to do.
      Example: "I usually read a book to kill time during my commute."
   c. Against the clock - To be in a race against time or running out of time.
      Example: "They worked against the clock to finish the project before the deadline."
   d. In the nick of time - Just in time or at the last possible moment.
      Example: "She arrived in the nick of time to catch the train."
   e. Time flies - Time passes quickly.
      Example: "It feels like yesterday, but time flies, and now they're all grown up."

So when I was deciding which topic to focus on for our second episode I really only needed to look at what the people I work with are actually asking for. One of the most common topics that I discuss with people is presentations. Presentations can be great opportunities to use those English skills that you work so hard on, but they also have their own stresses and challenges. Today we’re going to look at some vocabulary that you might hear when watching a presentation and some that you might want to use when giving your own. At the end we also have our 'big discussion question' to help you with your speaking practice. You can find the vocabulary from this podcast in the vocabulary sets on my profile. Я прочитаю отрывок дважды. В первый раз медленно, по несколько слов, но обязательно ставьте эпизод на паузу, чтобы всё успеть. Второй раз читаю быстрее, чтобы вы проверили, всё ли правильно записали.

Answer: Yeah, I’d love to see some changes.
Example: For one, better public transport would be great.
Reason: The buses here are pretty unreliable, so getting around can be a hassle. If they improved that, it’d make life much easier.
