The cost of low-budget food in Britain’s supermarkets has risen by up to 50 per cent over the past year, official figures show.

The Office for National Statistics reports that the price of value pasta ranges has jumped by 50 per cent since April last year!

Although I'm from the UK, I lived in China for 15 years, teach a large number of Chinese students, and even have a Chinese girlfriend.
