I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Second Language Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, along with minors in Spanish and French. During my time in Hawaiʻi, I had the opportunity to study multiple languages—including Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Hawaiian—which strengthened my passion for multilingualism and cultural understanding. I later completed a Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction from San José State University. I have teaching experience across a wide range of grade levels, from Transitional Kindergarten (ages 3–4) through 9th grade, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and proficiency in language learning. I incorporate visuals intentionally to support comprehension and engagement in my teaching.
